Capital goods stocks advanced broadly on Wall Street on Friday morning, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.2%.
More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.1%, the Nasdaq rose 0.3% and the S&P 500 was up 0.1%.
Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

- Embraer-Empresa Brasileira De Aeronautica (ERJ[2]): ERJ stock is up 1.1% today.
- U.S. Silica Holdings Inc (SLCA[3]): SLCA stock is up 1.2% today.
- The Middleby Corp (MIDD[4]): MIDD stock is up 0.5% today.
- Lincoln Electric Holdings (LECO[5]): LECO stock is up 1.0% today.
- Headwaters Inc (HW[6]): HW stock is up 0.7% today.
- Empresas Ica Soc Contrladora (ICA[7]): ICA stock is up 1.0% today.
Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:
- Zebra Technologies Corp (ZBRA[8]): ZBRA stock is down 3.1% today.
- James Hardie Industries Se (JHX[9]): JHX stock is down 1.7% today.
- CRH Plc (CRH[10]): CRH stock is down 1.3% today.
- Manitowoc Company (MTW[11]): MTW stock is down 1.6%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Masco Corp (MAS[12]): MAS stock is down 1.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- NCI Building Systems (NCS[13]): NCS stock is down 1.9% today.
