Consumer noncyclical stocks finished down broadly on Wall Street today, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 0.6%.
More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average remained flat, the Nasdaq was unchanged and the S&P 500 stayed consistent.
Some of the biggest gainers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:
- Coca Cola Femsa S.A.B. De C.V. (KOF[1]): KOF stock is up 0.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- J.M. Smucker Company (SJM[2]): SJM stock is up 0.2% today.
- Adecoagro S.A. (AGRO[3]): AGRO stock is up 0.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Unilever Plc (UL[4]): UL stock is up 0.2% today.
- Starbucks Corp (SBUX[5]): SBUX stock is up 0.2% today.
Some of the biggest losers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:
- Vector Group Ltd (VGR[6]): VGR stock is down 2.0% today.
- Deluxe Corp (DLX[7]): DLX stock is down 1.3% today.
- The Whitewave Foods Company (WWAV[8]): WWAV stock is down 1.3% today.
- Reynolds American Inc (RAI[9]): RAI stock is down 1.2% today.
- Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc (DPS[10]): DPS stock is down 1.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Hormel Foods Corp (HRL[11]): HRL stock is down 1.1% today.
- Brown Forman Inc B (BF.B[12]): BF.B stock is down 1.1% today.
- Altria Group (MO[13]): MO stock is down 1.0% today.
- Ingredion Inc (INGR[14]): INGR stock is down 1.0% today.
- J & J Snack Foods (JJSF[15]): JJSF stock is down 1.0% today.
