Utilities stocks rose 0.7% on Wall Street on Thursday morning.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.1%, the Nasdaq stayed the same and the S&P 500 pushed 0.1% higher.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

• Cleco Power Llc (CNL[1]): CNL stock is up 6.1% to a new 52-week high of $56.06.

• Korea Electric Power Corp (KEP[2]): KEP stock is up 1.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Crestwood Midstream Partners LP (CMLP[3]): CMLP stock is up 1.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Black Hills Corp (BKH[4]): BKH stock is up 0.7%, marking the sixth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• The Aes Corp (AES[5]): AES stock is up 1.3%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Dominion Resources (D[6]): D stock is up 1.3% today.

• Abengoa Yield Plc (ABY[7]): ABY stock is up 1.0% today.

• Allete Inc (ALE[8]): ALE stock is up 0.9% today.

• National Grid Transco Plc (NGG[9]): NGG stock is up 1.0% today.

• Huaneng Power Intl (HNP[10]): HNP stock is up 1.1% today.

• Enbridge Inc (ENB[14]): ENB stock is down 1.4% today.

• Western Gas Partners LP (WES[15]): WES stock is down 0.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Centrais Elc Braz Pfb B Elbras (EBR[16]): EBR stock is down 0.6% today.

• Exterran Partners L.P. (EXLP[17]): EXLP stock is down 0.5% today.

• Energy Transfer Equity LP (ETE[18]): ETE stock is down 0.5% today.
