Utilities stocks finished flat today on Wall Street.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.2%, the Nasdaq was up 0.4% and the S&P 500 increased 0.2%.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

• Dynegy Inc (DYN[1]): DYN stock is up 1.4%, marking the ninth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• El Paso Pipeline Partners LP (EPB[2]): EPB stock is up 0.8% today.

• Cheniere Energy Partners LP (CQP[3]): CQP stock is up 0.8% today on 4 times normal volume.

• Hawaiian Electric Industries (HE[4]): HE stock is up 0.7% today.

• NiSource Inc (NI[5]): NI stock is up 0.7% to a new 52-week high of $37.84.

• Mdu Res Group Inc (MDU[6]): MDU stock is up 0.7% today.

• Northwestern Corp (NWE[7]): NWE stock is up 0.7% today.

• Calpine Corp (CPN[8]): CPN stock is up 0.6%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (PCG[9]): PCG stock is up 0.5% today.

• Avista Corp (AVA[10]): AVA stock is up 0.5% today.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

• The Aes Corp (AES[11]): AES stock is down 1.6% today.

• Boardwalk Pipeline Partners L.P. (BWP[12]): BWP stock is down 1.1% today.

• Exterran Partners L.P. (EXLP[13]): EXLP stock is down 0.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Pinnacle West Capital Corp (PNW[14]): PNW stock is down 0.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Aqua America (WTR[15]): WTR stock is down 0.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• PPL Corp (PPL[16]): PPL stock is down 0.4% today.

• Itc Holdings (ITC[17]): ITC stock is down 0.4% today.
