Biggest Movers in Utilities Stocks Now – HNP LNG CVA MWE

Utilities stocks fell broadly on Wall Street so far on Monday, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 0.1%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was unchanged, the Nasdaq increased 0.2% and the S&P 500 stayed the same.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

• Huaneng Power Intl (HNP[1]): HNP stock is up 2.2%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Cheniere Energy (LNG[2]): LNG stock is up 2.1%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Covanta Holding Corp (CVA[3]): CVA stock is up 0.9%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Markwest Energy Partners LP (MWE[4]): MWE stock is up 0.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Empresa Nacional De Electricidad S.A. (EOC[5]): EOC stock is up 0.5% today.

• Pinnacle West Capital Corp (PNW[6]): PNW stock is up 0.5% today.

• National Grid Transco Plc (NGG[7]): NGG stock is up 0.5% today.

• Edison International (EIX[8]): EIX stock is up 0.4% today.

• Transcananda Pipelines (TRP[9]): TRP stock is up 0.3% to a new 52-week high of $47.73.

• NRG Energy (NRG[10]): NRG stock is up 0.5% today.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

• One Gas Inc. (OGS[11]): OGS stock is down 2.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Cia De Saneamento Basico Do Estado (SBS[12]): SBS stock is down 1.6% today.

• Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE[13]): CLNE stock is down 0.9% today.

• El Paso Electric Company (EE[14]): EE stock is down 1.4% today.

• Laclede Group (LG[15]): LG stock is down 1.0% today.

• Korea Electric Power Corp (KEP[16]): KEP stock is down 1.0% today.

• Cpfl Energia S.A. (CPL[17]): CPL stock is down 1.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Companhia Paranaense De Energia (ELP[18]): ELP stock is down 1.0% today.

• Ormat Technologies (ORA[19]): ORA stock is down 1.0% today.
