Carl’s Jr. to Take Another Shot at Japan

The burger chain is hoping that second time's the charm

Carl’s Jr. is bringing its made-to-order burgers back to Japan.

The burger chain attempted to make the overseas leap back in 1989 but it didn’t do so well. However, there is reason to believe Carl’s Jr. might be successful the second time around.

The company is bringing its premium burgers to Japan in a time when premium burgers in fast food and fast casual restaurants are on the rise. Two and a half decades ago, the demand for quality was not the same as it is today.

Carl’s Jr. prepares made-to-order burgers of a higher quality than your average fast food joint. The restaurant will be hoping to open itself for business in Japan sometime in 2015.
