Diane von Furstenberg to Design Google Glasses for Women

Diane von Furstenberg and Google (GOOG[1]) have teamed up to release a line of Google Glasses for women[2].

Diane von Furstenberg[3]The collection is called “DVF | Made for Glass” and it consists of 13 frames and shades that come with Google Glass designed for ladies. Diane von Furstenberg designed the line which includes five new frames and eight new shades.

The frames will go for $1,725 apiece plus the Glass and the shades will cost $1,620 for the shades plus the Glass. Google also released three of the artist’s designs including Aviator Graphite Flash, Navigator Orchid Mist Flash and Shiny Elderberry.

Diane von Furstenberg’s new line follows the high-end designer’s unisex Titanium Collection which the designer released in January.

GOOG stock is down about 1.7% Tuesday afternoon.
