Songza is a music streaming service that prides itself on creating playlists to fit a number of circumstances including music to boost your energy, office music, barbecuing, dinner parties and more. Google is reportedly offering $15 million for the music curation service, according to a source close to the matter.
Songza has 5.5 million active users which pale in comparison to Pandora’s 77 million users but Google could be the driving force that puts Songza at the top of the music streaming industry. The $15 million offer seems relatively low when you consider that Pandora is valued at around $5 billion.
