Technology stocks finished up broadly on Wall Street today, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.6%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.3%, the Nasdaq increased 0.3% and the S&P 500 rose 0.3%.

Some of the biggest gainers among technology stocks include:

• Gt Advanced Technologies Inc (GTAT[1]): GTAT stock is up 3.4%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Netsuite Inc (N[2]): N stock is up 2.9% today.

• Workday Inc (WDAY[3]): WDAY stock is up 2.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Applied Materials (AMAT[4]): AMAT stock is up 2.9% to a new 52-week high of $22.37.

• Red Hat Inc (RHT[5]): RHT stock is up 2.8% today.

• Canadian Solar Inc (CSIQ[6]): CSIQ stock is up 2.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Cornerstone Ondemand Inc (CSOD[7]): CSOD stock is up 2.5% today.

• Sunpower Corp (SPWR[8]): SPWR stock is up 2.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Salesforce.Com Inc (CRM[9]): CRM stock is up 2.4% today.

• CGI Group (GIB[10]): GIB stock is up 2.2% today.

Some of the biggest losers among technology stocks include:

• Interdigital (IDCC[11]): IDCC stock is down 6.6% today on 7 times normal volume.

• Alcatel Lucent (ALU[12]): ALU stock is down 2.1% today.

• Allscripts Healthcare Solutions (MDRX[13]): MDRX stock is down 1.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASX[14]): ASX stock is down 1.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Tech Data Corp (TECD[15]): TECD stock is down 1.4% today.

• Convergys Corp (CVG[16]): CVG stock is down 1.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Rogers Corp (ROG[17]): ROG stock is down 1.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Sanmina-Sci Corp (SANM[18]): SANM stock is down 1.3% today.

• Littelfuse (LFUS[19]): LFUS stock is down 1.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• PMC (PMCS[20]): PMCS stock is down 1.2% today.
