Hottest Utilities Stocks Now – ENB CIG AES EBR

Utilities stocks declined broadly on Wall Street on Wednesday morning, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 0.5%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.3%, the Nasdaq stayed the same and the S&P 500 fell 0.3%.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

• Enbridge Inc (ENB[1]): ENB stock is up 1.1% today.

• Comp En De Mn Cemig Ads (CIG[2]): CIG stock is up 0.8%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• The Aes Corp (AES[3]): AES stock is up 0.6% today.

• Centrais Elc Braz Pfb B Elbras (EBR[4]): EBR stock is up 0.6%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Transcananda Pipelines (TRP[5]): TRP stock is up 0.5% today.

• Trident Performance Group (TCP[6]): TCP stock is up 0.4% today.

• Williams Partners L.P. (WPZ[7]): WPZ stock is up 0.4% today.

• Transalta Corp (TAC[8]): TAC stock is up 0.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Exterran Partners L.P. (EXLP[9]): EXLP stock is up 0.3% today.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

• PPL Corp (PPL[10]): PPL stock is down 1.7% today.

• Northwestern Corp (NWE[11]): NWE stock is down 1.3% today.

• El Paso Electric Company (EE[12]): EE stock is down 1.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Boardwalk Pipeline Partners L.P. (BWP[13]): BWP stock is down 1.1%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Uil Holdings Corp (UIL[14]): UIL stock is down 0.9% today.

• Exelon Corp (EXC[15]): EXC stock is down 1.3% today.

• Sempra Energy (SRE[16]): SRE stock is down 0.9% today.

• Newjersey Resources Corp (NJR[17]): NJR stock is down 0.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Wisconsin Energy Corp (WEC[18]): WEC stock is down 0.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Integrys Energy Group (TEG[19]): TEG stock is down 0.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
