The digital advertising company hired former Google (GOOG) exec Mark Theerman as Millennial Media’s new business strategy executive. Theerman was responsible for leading mobile advertising sales in his time with Google.
Millennial Media will use Theerman to help accelerate the company’s growth in programmatic and native advertising. He will be based in the company’s Boston office where he will oversee Millennial’s strategy for business corporate and international development.
MM stock is up about 4.35% Wednesday afternoon. Millennial Media reported a $12.9 million loss in its first quarter.
