Full List of 250 New Emojis Being Added in Unicode 7.0

Unicode Consortium, announced on Monday[1], that 250 new emojis will be released with Unicode 7.0.

new-emojis[2]Unicode Consortium develops the standards in Unicode used by which most of the world’s writing systems use. The group has announced that Unicode 7.0 will add an additional 2,834 characters, including the 250 new emojis.

Emojis are the graphical representations of icons, such as smiley faces, that can be used when sending messages. While the 250 new emojis have been added, it’s up to individual companies to determine if they want to include them in their messaging software.
