The flight, traveling to Los Angeles from Chicago, was forced to make an emergency landing after an emergency slide inflated inside the cabin. One passenger reported hearing a hiss and a pop before the slide began to inflate. The plane managed to land safely in Wichita, Kansas, CBS News notes.
None of the flight’s 96 passengers and five crew were injured in the incident, according to United Airlines.
Passengers from the disrupted United Airlines flight were expected to complete their trip to Los Angeles on another plane on Monday.
In Monday morning trading, UAL shares rose slightly.
