According to Hinge, Amazon employees are 14.2% more likely to get a right swipe, which shows interest, than other tech companies. Microsoft (MSFT) employees on the website enjoy an 8.2% overall interest level and Apple (AAPL) employees bring up the rear with 0.2% interest, reports Time.
While these statistics show that Amazon employees get more attention on average, they may not be completely right. The online retailer also has more employees than any of the other tech companies. This means that the sheer number of employees using the app could be skewing the data, Time notes.
According to the data from Hinge, four out of five tech companies, including Facebook (FB), Google (GOOG), Amazon, and Microsoft, have more attractive employees than users of the app not part of the tech scene. The one company that wasn’t part of this group was Apple, MarketWatch notes.
