Utilities stocks finished down broadly on Wall Street on Wednesday, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 1.7%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average remained flat, the Nasdaq pushed 0.1% higher and the S&P 500 stayed the same.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

  • Cleco Power Llc (CNL): CNL stock is up 3.1% today on 3 times normal volume.
  • Kinder Morgan Energy Partners L.P. (KMP): KMP stock is up 0.3% today.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

  • Companhia Paranaense De Energia (ELP): ELP stock is down 2.9% today.
  • Abengoa Yield Plc (ABY): ABY stock is down 2.7% today.
  • Public Service Enterprise Group Inc (PEG): PEG stock is down 2.6% today.
  • Agl Resources (GAS): GAS stock is down 2.5% today.
  • Atmos Energy Corp (ATO): ATO stock is down 2.5% today.
  • Northwestern Corp (NWE): NWE stock is down 2.5% today.
  • El Paso Electric Company (EE): EE stock is down 2.4% today.
  • One Gas Inc. (OGS): OGS stock is down 2.4% today.
  • Brookfield Infrastructure Partners LP (BIP): BIP stock is down 2.3% today.
  • Atlas Energy Llc (ATLS): ATLS stock is down 2.3%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
