GOOG: MindRDR Is the Google Glass App You Control With Your Mind

Google (GOOG[1]) Glass is taking another step toward the future[2] with a new app controlled with the mind.

The app, called MindRDR, was developed by This Place in London. The app works by hooking up a the Neurosky EEG biosensor to Google Glass. This allows for users of the wearable technology to do certain things with their mind. For example, it allows Glass users to take pictures with their thoughts and post them to Twitter (TWTR[4]), reports TechCrunch.

The guys and gals over at This Place designed the MindRDR app to make using Google Glass easier. They noted that speaking to Glass or having to reach up to it all the time can be uncomfortable and result in a “Glass elbow”. Those interested in the technology include Stephen Hawking, whose speech and movement is limited by a progressive motor neuron disease, TechCrunch notes.

Currently, MindRDR has limited functions. The app and device are limited to yes and no answers[5]. Yes answers are made with increased brain activity and no answers are done through the opposite.
