Ingress has players join up with one of two factions to capture energy sources located around the world. These energy sources are located at real-world locations and the players must be at these locations to capture them. This can result in large groups of people teaming up to meet at a location and take it over, reports Cnet.

The Android version of Ingress was released in December of last year[5].

This isn’t the first time that Google has released an app onto the App Store. In fact, the company already offers close to 40 apps to iOS users. These apps include, Chrom, Maps, YouTube and more, Cnet notes.
