Capital goods stocks advanced broadly on Wall Street on Tuesday morning, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.3%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 0.4% higher, the Nasdaq rose 0.6% and the S&P 500 climbed 0.4%.

Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

• U.S. Silica Holdings Inc (SLCA[1]): SLCA stock is up 2.0% to a new 52-week high of $56.56.

• Chicago Bridge & Iron Company N.V. (CBI[2]): CBI stock is up 1.8%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Trinity Industries (TRN[3]): TRN stock is up 1.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Louisiana-Pacific Corp (LPX[4]): LPX stock is up 2.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Caesarstone Sdot-Yam Ltd (CSTE[5]): CSTE stock is up 2.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• CRH Plc (CRH[6]): CRH stock is up 1.6% today.

• Dycom Industries (DY[7]): DY stock is up 2.6% today.

• Mastec Inc (MTZ[8]): MTZ stock is up 1.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Zebra Technologies Corp (ZBRA[9]): ZBRA stock is up 2.1% to a new 52-week high of $84.04.

• Ryland Group (RYL[10]): RYL stock is up 1.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:

• Timken Company (TKR[11]): TKR stock is down 28.8% to a new 52-week low of $48.32.

• Triumph Group (TGI[12]): TGI stock is down 1.6% today.

• Raytheon Company (RTN[13]): RTN stock is down 1.1% today.

• General Dynamics Corp (GD[14]): GD stock is down 1.1% today.

• Lockheed Martin Corp (LMT[15]): LMT stock is down 1.3% today.

• Northrop Grumman Corp (NOC[16]): NOC stock is down 0.8% today.

• L-3 Communications Holdings (LLL[17]): LLL stock is down 0.5%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Msc Industrial Direct Company (MSM[18]): MSM stock is down 0.3% today.

• Transdigm Group Inc (TDG[19]): TDG stock is down 0.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Fastenal Company (FAST[20]): FAST stock is down 0.1% today.
