Hottest Utilities Stocks Now – WES DPM OKS ENB

Utilities stocks rose broadly on Wall Street today, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.3%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.4%, the Nasdaq rose 0.4% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.4% higher.

Some of the biggest gainers among utilities stocks include:

• Western Gas Partners LP (WES[1]): WES stock is up 2.9% today.

• Dcp Midstream Partners LP (DPM[2]): DPM stock is up 2.2% today.

• Oneok Partners L.P. (OKS[3]): OKS stock is up 1.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Enbridge Inc (ENB[4]): ENB stock is up 1.2% today.

• Teco Energy (TE[5]): TE stock is up 1.1% today.

• Empresa Nacional De Electricidad S.A. (EOC[6]): EOC stock is up 0.9% today.

• Transalta Corp (TAC[7]): TAC stock is up 0.8% today.

• Firstenergy Corp (FE[8]): FE stock is up 0.8% today.

• Energy Transfer Equity LP (ETE[9]): ETE stock is up 0.8% today.

• Southern Company (SO[10]): SO stock is up 0.7% today.

Some of the biggest losers among utilities stocks include:

• Cheniere Energy Partners LP (CQP[11]): CQP stock is down 1.1% today.

• NRG Energy (NRG[12]): NRG stock is down 1.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Covanta Holding Corp (CVA[13]): CVA stock is down 0.5% today.

• Pinnacle West Capital Corp (PNW[14]): PNW stock is down 0.5% today.

• Uil Holdings Corp (UIL[15]): UIL stock is down 0.5% today.

• Korea Electric Power Corp (KEP[16]): KEP stock is down 0.4%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Potomac Electric Power Company (POM[17]): POM stock is down 0.4%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Dynegy Inc (DYN[18]): DYN stock is down 0.3%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• El Paso Pipeline Partners LP (EPB[19]): EPB stock is down 0.2% today.
