When Andrew Zong, the CEO of PHNIX, bought his Tesla Model S in Beijing, he realized that it would be impossible to drive it home to Guangzhou. To fix this issue, he ordered 20 charging units from the electric car manufacturer.

Andrew Zong used social media websites in China to spread the word about his plan to place the Tesla chargers from Beijing to Guangzhou. He quickly found 20 place that were willing to allow him to install the chargers. The chargers purchased by him are slow charging, requiring eight hours for a full charge.

Andrew Zong is also the first person in China to own a Tesla Model S. He is also offering 20 more as rewards to his employees and has equipped his parking lot with 60 charging stations.
