The poster featured an imaged of the front game of the Dachau Concentration Camp, a Nazi concentration camps. The gate shows an inscription that reads “Arbeit Macht Frei” which translates to “Work will make you free.”

Satirical blog site Wonkette[7] discovered the Nazi poster on Walmart’s website and lashed out against it. The retail giant took the poster down and apologized for the move, blaming a third-party seller that listed it on Walmart’s website.

The poster was also on sale on Sears Marketplace and Amazon. “The item, which was listed by an independent third-party on Sears Marketplace, violates our guidelines and was immediately removed,” Sears said.

WMT stock is up about 0.7% Wednesday afternoon. SHLD stock is up 0.8% and AMZN stock is up 1.9%.
