Bob Weir — co-founder of Grateful Dead — cancels all concerts with his band.
The 66-year-old singer announced via Facebook that all upcoming concerts with his band Ratdog have been cancelled. The announcement said that “circumstances have necessitated that all scheduled tour dates for Bob Weir & RatDog are being cancelled.”
Weir was unable to play a show last month when Ratdog played in Las Vegas. The venue issued a statement claiming that the singer was under the weather.
Bob Weir and Ratdog were scheduled to kick off their North American tour on Thursday, August 14 in Boston. The tour was supposed to run through September 14 in Nashville.
A Jamaica concert scheduled for January 2015 was also canceled.
