A Brita water bottle recall has been issued.
The move comes in response of 35 lids from children’s water filter bottles breaking or cracking. The Brita water bottle recall affects 242,500 children’s water filter bottles that pose a laceration hazard resulting from broken lids.
The recalled Brita bottles in question are 15-ounce bottles with stars and filters below the lid. They were on sale for between $13 and $19 in a number of online and physical stores.
The following models are included in the recall: a violet bottle with Dora the Explorer, a pink bottle with Hello Kitty, a blue bottle with SpongeBob Square Pants and a green bottle with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
No injuries have been reported.
