Around the same time that YouTube Music Key is expected to be released, Google may also change the name of its Google Play service to Google Play Music Key. while exact details on this change aren’t known, it’s possible that monthly subscribers will have access to both the YouTube and Google Play versions of Music Key, The Verge notes.

The date of launch for YouTube Music Key isn’t currently known, but it may be before the end of 2014. Licensing issues are a potential problem that is keeping the service from launching sooner. It’s unknown in what parts of the world that the service will be available, but it may only launch in the United States at first, reports The Guardian[4].
