Consumer noncyclical stocks finished up 0.3% on Wall Street today.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.5%, the Nasdaq climbed 0.6% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.5% higher.

Some of the biggest gainers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

• Tootsie Roll Industries (TR[1]): TR stock is up 2.4% today.

• Brown Forman Inc A (BF.A[2]): BF.A stock is up 0.7% today.

• Embotell Andna Sa B (AKO.B[3]): AKO.B stock is up 0.6% today.

• Unilever Nv (UN[4]): UN stock is up 0.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Fomento Economico Mexicano S.A.B. De C.V. (FMX[5]): FMX stock is up 0.5%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Reynolds American Inc (RAI[6]): RAI stock is up 0.5% today.

• B&G Foods Holdings (BGS[7]): BGS stock is up 0.5% today.

• Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc (DPS[8]): DPS stock is up 0.5% today.

• Altria Group (MO[9]): MO stock is up 0.5% today.

• Philip Morris International Inc (PM[10]): PM stock is up 0.5% today.
