The new Tesla store in Quebec will be located on Ferrier Street in Montreal’s Côtes-des-Neiges-NDG. The electric-car maker is expected to spend over $1 million to turn the old Nissan Motors (NSANY) Infiniti and Chrysler store into one of its own stores, reports Auto123.com.
The location to become a new Tesla store in Quebec takes up 45,000 square feet and could become the largest retail location for the company in North America. The company also has a service station in Quebec that has been around since 2012, Auto123.com notes.
Quebec isn’t Tesla’s only expansion. The electric-car company has also been looking around the United States for a place to build its $5-billion gigafactory that will pump out batteries for its vehicles.
