The rumor claims that the new service could be part of a rebranding of the Beats Music service. The February launch would put the release near the Grammy Awards being held on February 8, which means the service could be announced at the event. There is also a rumor that Beats Music could be folded into iTunes. However, Apple said it didn’t plan to do this when it bought Beats.

Air: Apple may be preparing to launch the next generation of the iPad Air in October, AppleInisder notes. This information is based on a rumor out of Asia that claims the tech company is going to start production of the iPad Air 2 this month. The rumor also claims that the company is preparing an iPad mini with Retina display and a 12.9-inch iPad, referred to as the iPad Pro, that will be released sometime in 2015. This conflicts with previous iPad releases that have seen new devices launched at the same time.

Water: Owners of an Apple iPhone 6 or 6 Plus may be in for a little extra luck if their device goes skinny dipping, 9to5Mac notes. According to a breakdown of the devices that was published by iFixit, the newest generation of the iPhone includes small, rubber pieces underneath the volume and power buttons in an effort to keep water out. The new additions to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were tested out by Squaretrade, a provider of warranties for the devices. In its test, Squaretrade was able to leave both of the devices underwater for roughly 10 seconds without them suffering any damage.
