One of the first people to buy Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone 6 dropped it after opening the box.
The man was being interviewed and recorded by a local news station when he dropped the iPhone 6. He was having trouble opening the box that the new smartphone was in and ended up using too much force.
When the lid of the box came off, the iPhone 6 dropped to the ground and hit the sidewalk. A crowd around the man responded in “oohs” and “aahs” when the device hit the ground. The smartphone didn’t seem to be damaged as a result of the fall.
The iPhone 6 bought by the man was one of the 4.7-inch models. He purchased the device in Perth, Australia.
This new iPhone 6 owner might want to look into getting one of these cases for his new smartphone, just in case he drops it again in the future.
