Consumer noncyclical stocks declined broadly on Wall Street on Thursday, with the sector seeing an overall decline of 1.0%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 2.0%, the Nasdaq fell 1.6% and the S&P 500 declined 2.0%.

Some of the biggest gainers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

  • Brf-Brasil Foods S.A. (BRFS): BRFS stock is up 1.5% today on 2 times normal volume.
  • Hormel Foods Corp (HRL): HRL stock is up 0.3% today.

Some of the biggest losers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

  • The Andersons (ANDE): ANDE stock is down 4.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
  • Revlon Inc (REV): REV stock is down 4.3% today.
  • Owens Corning Inc (OC): OC stock is down 3.4% today.
  • Deluxe Corp (DLX): DLX stock is down 3.3% today.
  • Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE): CCE stock is down 3.0% today.
  • Herbalife Ltd (HLF): HLF stock is down 2.8% today.
  • Seaboard Corp (SEB): SEB stock is down 2.7% today.
  • Dean Foods Company (DF): DF stock is down 2.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
  • Flowers Foods (FLO): FLO stock is down 2.5% today.
  • Darling International Inc (DAR): DAR stock is down 2.5% today.
