General Motors (GM) gave a sneak peak of its 2016 Chevy Volt to a focus group.
The company only revealed part of the front of the vehicle in the event which was attended by 20 to 30 people, according to a blogger who attended GM’s event.
The blogger said that the 2016 Chevy Volt “looks lighter, higher off the ground, thinner, leaner longer.” The car appears to be a full length sedan with more legroom than the previous model.
The interior of the 2016 Chevy Volt looks better and the iPod dashboard has been modernized. The vehicle has a 1.5-liter Ecotec gas engine and it runs on regular gasoline instead of premium.
“Also more efficient, and less costly because it can now use regular instead of premium gas due to gas engine enhancements that allow high compression without knocking,” reads the blog.
GM stock is up 0.2% Friday afternoon.
