The new Facebook Messenger feature is currently being tested by a small number of users. The feature allows users of the service to have a voice clip sent through the surface transcribed to text, reports ZDNet.

According to David Marcus, CP of Messaging products at Facebook, the new feature could be handy for users that are in a situation where they can’t listen to a voice clip. The social media platform is looking for feedback from users and plans to make the new Facebook messenger feature available to more users with time, ZDNet notes.

Facebook Messenger isn’t the only service with a voice-to-text feature. Google has been offering a similar service to users with Google Voice. The service takes a voice mail and sends  it as text to a person’s inbox, reports Forbes.

FB shares were up 1% as of Tuesday afternoon.
