Google Blogger has instead changed its stance to say that it will focus on bloggers that use their blogs to sell porn, which isn’t allowed according to the company’s policies. The company said the change in plans is the result of “a ton of feedback”, reports CNN Money.

Complaints that were voiced after the announced Google Blogger policy changes included some from users that had used the service for 10 or more years. Users also complained that the restrictions put in place by the new policies wouldn’t allow them to “express their identities”, CNN Money notes.

Had Google Blogger gone ahead with its plan to block porn, the service would have still left a few options for some users. These options included the ability to set an account with nudity and sexually explicit content private.
