The hydrogen fuel-cell car has been in sale in Japan for several months and is coming to California, reports Forbes.

According to Forbes, the Toyota Mirai can travel up to 300 miles on a single tank of hydrogen. It also only takes a few minutes to refuel. When the hydrogen fuel-cell car comes to the U.S., it will be priced at $57,500. Toyota’s plans also include opening 20 hydrogen stations for refueling in California by the end of the year.

“Having a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle pace the Toyota Owners 400 is a historic moment for both Toyota and NASCAR and we’re proud it’s the Toyota Mirai,” Ed Laukes, vice president of marketing at Toyota USA, told Motorsport.com “Bringing the Mirai to Richmond to pace this important race is another way for Toyota to showcase our innovation and environmental leadership.”
