The Facebook bug made it so that users trying to post links to images or articles outside the social media service weren’t working. Sometimes this just blocked iamges from showing up on the website, but other times it prevented users from updating their statuses altogether, reports The Verge.

Some users that attempted to update their statuses with posts from outside of Facebook were met with a security screen that told them the content they were linking to wasn’t safe. It refused to let them post this content. Some thought this could be Facebook trying to censor content related to the Baltimore riots, but this doesn’t appear to be the case, The Verge notes.

According to Mashable, Facebook has restored most of the hidden posts removed by the bug as of 12:09 a.m. on May 1.
