Google (GOOG,GOOGL) has announced that it’s switching back to its old bookmarks manager for Google Chrome.

News that Google Chrome would be switching back to its old bookmarks manager was announced by the company via its Google Product Forums. The company didn’t say when exactly the old bookmarks manager would appear, only that it would be back soon.

Google said that it will continue to look for new ways to improve its bookmarks manager, but didn’t say anything specific about new plans. It also announced that the current bookmarks manager could be downloaded as an extension to Google Chrome for those who prefer to use it.

Following the announcement that the old bookmarks manger would be returning to Google Chrome, several users on the company’s forum responded with praise for the change.
