The Nissan Infiniti recall affects 28,000 cars in the U.S., including some Infiniti Q50 gasoline and hybrid SUVs from the 2014 and 2015 model years.

A warning light shows up in the dashboard if the glitch happens. However, vehicle owners who ignore the light are at an increased risk of crashing.

No crashes or injuries have been reported.
