With investors eagerly awaiting Friday’s June reports on jobs, the U.S. stock market experienced an overall decline Thursday. The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average each fell 0.1%.

Here’s how these stocks did Thursday:

Juno Therapeutics Inc (JUNO)

Juno Therapeutics shares plummeted as the company had bad news to share regarding one of its clinical trials.

Its treatment of using genetically engineered cells in chemotherapy for cancer patients has led to three deaths, causing the company to stop the trial temporarily.

The decision to end the trial for now was made by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Juno Therapeutics expressed its remorse in the deaths, which were caused by a swelling in the brain.

The trial may continue without the drug.

JUNO stock plunged more than 26% in after-hours trading yesterday.

Gap Inc (GPS)

Gap reported its fiscal first-quarter results yesterday afternoon.

The retailer had a positive period thanks in part to a strong showing from its Old Navy brand. Comparable-sales rose 2% in June, ahead of expectations. Analysts expected Gap’s comparable-sales for the month to decline 3%.

Year-over-year revenue was also higher at $1.57 billion, compared to $1.54 billion previously.

GPS shares rose 4% after the bell Thursday.

PriceSmart, Inc. (PSMT)

PriceSmart also released its quarterly earnings data Thursday.

The company reported earnings of 55 cents a share, missing analysts’ projections by a considerable margin. Wall Street had predicted earnings of 70 cents per share.

Revenue also fell short of the consensus estimate at $704.3 million, versus the average analyst expectation of $706.15 million.

PSMT shares fell nearly 4% after hours Thursday.
