Beta: Apple (AAPL) has released the second public beta of iOS 10, reports BGR. The iOS 10 public beta 2 gives users a better look at what the company is planning for its final release of the upcoming operating system. This includes expanded use of 3D Touch, improvements to Apple Music, updated sounds for certain actions and more. The update also came out just shortly after the release of the third developer beta of iOS 10. The final version of iOS 10 will likely be released in September alongside the rumored iPhone 7.

MacOS: Apple has also released its macOS Sierra beta to for public users, MacRumors notes. The new beta includes more integration with iCloud, an Auto Unlock feature for Watch owners and more. It will also bring Siri to Mac, which will allow users to ask the virtual assistant for aid with various different tasks. Public beta testers can download the new macOS Sierra beta by going to the Mac App Store and using the Software Update option.

Survey: A new survey finds that about 25% of iPhone owners are likely to upgrade this year, reports Quartz. The poll included 525 iPhone owners who said they are interested in upgrading if the company released a redesigned iPhone this year. However, only 10% of the people that responded to the survey said they were still very interested even if the iPhone isn’t redesigned in 2016. Roughly 70% of people said they would change their upgrade habits if AAPL started releasing new smartphones every two or three years.
