The Summer Olympics 2016 are almost here and gymnast Simone Biles is catching everyone’s eye.

The opening ceremony for the Summer Olympics 2016 will start tomorrow, but Simone Biles won’t start competing until Sunday. She’s a fan favorite to win the All-Around gold medal in gymnastics. Here competing this year will give her a chance at five gold medals and a U.S. Team title.

Here are a few things to know about U.S.  Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, as collected from USA Today.

  • Simone Biles is 19 years old.
  • She has won every All-Around competition she’s entered since August 2013.
  • The last four four U.S. titles were won by her.
  • She’s claimed the last three world All-Around titles.
  • Since August 2013, Simone Biles has collected 14 medals and 10 of them are gold.
  • Her interest in gymnastics started when she was six years old.
  • This is her first time competing in the Olympics.
  • Simone Biles was too young to compete in the 2012 games.
  • Her home town is Spring, Texas.
  • She doesn’t have a nickname, yet.
  • Simone Biles trains at the World Champions Centre, which was opened by her parents after they retired.

Simone Biles is already in Rio for the Summer Olympics 2016. She recently posted a pciture with her teammates standing inside the dive Olympic rings. Another picture she posted to social media has her standing next to US Olympian volleyball player David Lee. Lee stands at 6’8″ while Biles is only 4’8″ tall. That’s a solid 24 inches, or two feet.
