The e-commerce retailer announced that digital voice assistant Alexa can be used for everything from reading tweets, helping you with your travel plans and even sending you recipes from the Food Network. Back in June, it only had 1,000 skills.

Originally, the software was only available on Amazon’s Echo speakers, which you could use to play music by talking to the speakers. The company has now expanded the functionality for mobile devices, including the new Fire HD 8.

The new and improved Alexa can also tell you about the nutritional value of a meal, help you in finding a lost cell phone, and talk to appliances. And it looks like Amazon is not done as the voice assistant will be even more handy over the coming months.

You’ll be able to monitor your fantasy league through Alexa, as well as receiving stock quotes if you’re looking to invest. Although the company has played a role in expanding the assistant, releasing it out in the open is what’s helped revolutionize it.

Last year, Amazon opened up Alexa Skills Kit to developers and they have dedicated plenty of time and work into expanding the software, with tens of thousands developers working on adding more features for users to enjoy.

AMZN stock is down 1.3% Tuesday.
