Chipotle is planning to hire more employees through the National Career Day event in 2016 than what it did in 2015. It hired 4,000 employees last year. It also noted that there is room for advancement as it has moved 11,000 entry-level employees to management positions over the last year.

“Working here isn’t just a job, but a career where employees learn how to make others better, run a successful business, master culinary skills, and most importantly, become true leaders, of teams of top performers,” Monty Moran, co-CEO of Chipotle, said in a statement.

United Parcel Service, Inc. (NYSE:UPS) and Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT) have also both announced plans recently to hire more employees. However, these companies are looking for seasonal workers for the 2016 holiday season.
