How can I watch Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) on Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA)?

NetflixThe cable company is now offering Netflix’s services on its Xfinity X1 devices starting next week. Cable owners who are not subscribed to the online streaming service will have the opportunity to sign up for it through X1 on TV, including the opportunity to enter a one-month free trial for eligible consumers.

Comcast subscribers will then be charged the same amount as all Netflix subscribers, most of which have the two-stream HD plan that will set you back $9.99 per month. Signing up will be as simple as entering your service through your X1 with your Comcast username and password.

The two companies have had their differences in the past, namely regarding Netflix complaining about how slow the service’s delivery speeds are on Comcast. However, customers don’t care about any beef that may have existed between the companies in the past.

The update to the X1 cable box will be available as soon as Friday. The move could prove to be quite beneficial to Netflix, helping the company add up to 4 million to 5 million new subscribers, according to an analysts by a firm.

It is expected that the online streaming service will have between 9 million and 11 million video subscribers with access to Netflix through the X1 set-top box. About 58% of X1 owners are paying customers of the streaming service.

NFLX shares edged 0.3% higher Friday, while CMCSA stock tumbled 0.2%.
