Is ‘Dr. Copper’ Calling for a Bigger Drop?

Copper prices may be foretelling a bearish move.


I’ve talked about how there’s some disparity in commodity prices with unleaded gasoline and crude oil looking bullish, and the metals, like gold and silver, in the bearish camp, which could take a toll on copper companies including Sterlite Industries (India) (NYSE:SLT), Oline Corp. (NYSE:OLN) and Freeport McMoRan (NYSE:FCX).

In this video, I’ll take a close look at copper’s chart and the indicators that are pointing to a downward movement, which traders should be aware of as the saying goes, “Copper has a Ph.D in economics” and many regard it as a solid market indicator.
