OMG! How DARE Starbucks try to make money in the land of magic and princesses! Bad move, SBUX, bad move.

“Main Street, U.S.A. serves as the entrance to Disney’s theme parks worldwide. It’s like a quaint American small town from a century ago, where everyone carries smartphones in their fanny packs. Change has come to Main Street, and some Disney fans are more than a little upset that the Main Street Bakery will now serve a full menu of authentic, turn-of-the-century Starbucks beverages. ”

Ok, just kidding. But seriously, it’s ridiculous the things people get themselves worked up about.

Yeah, I mean, Starbucks is gonna be Starbucks, people. If they can set up shop across the street from the Tower of London, they can do it in Disney World. The whole thing is set up to sell merchandise anyway — may as well be more useful than a backpack shaped like Mickey or whatever.

It makes sense for Starbucks – Disney always has heavy foot traffic, some of them are bound to want have a drink of coffee. If Starbucks can make money by setting up shops in supermarkets, then they can be profitable in Disney. And, in addition to share of revenue, I do not see any drawbacks for Disney either.
