Jeb Bush 202x300 Jeb Bush Says No to Running With Romney[1]Jeb Bush, former governor of Florida, told Charlie Rose in an interview that aired today on CBS This Morning that he will not be Mitt Romney’s No. 2[2] on the presidential ballot this November.

“I’m not going to do it,” Bush emphatically answered Rose’s inquiry. “I’m not going to be asked. And it’s not going to happen.”

Just to be certain, Rose posed a followup question: “Under no circumstances?”

Bush replied: “Under no circumstances.”

Bush also made it clear that he holds no qualms about Romney being the nation’s commander in chief. The younger brother of former President George W. Bush — and son of former President George H.W. Bush — told Rose that he will “enthusiastically” support Romney.

If Romney doesn’t win the race, Bush said that he might run for president in 2016, but hinted that it was unlikely.

“There’s a window of opportunity in life, for all sorts of reasons” he told Rose. “This (year) was probably my time; but I’m not sure I would have been successful as a candidate.”
