Hillary Clinton dodged a shoe that was thrown at her by an unidentified woman during a speech in Las Vegas.
The woman who threw the shoe at Hillary Clinton was detained by security personal and held in the hallway of the hotel where the speech was being given. The woman admitted to throwing the shoe as well as tossing some papers, but she refused to identify herself. The woman was checked and it was dsicovered that she wasn’t approved to attend the speech. It is unknown what the woman will be charged with, the Associated Press notes.
Officials behind the Hillary Clinton speaking event claim that the unidentified woman “must have slipped under the rope at the last second” to get in.
One of the pieces of paper thrown by the unidentified woman contained information regarding a Bolivian Army operation called “Cynthia” in Bolivia. The document was an unclassified version of a Department of Defense document from August 1967, the Associated Press notes.
