There will soon be more airports in the U.S. with a more effective and more efficient way of screening its passengers in airport security.
CNN reports that the Transportation Security Administration is expanding its PreCheck program to 60 new airports by the end of 2013. The PreCheck program is an expedited way of going through airport security that allows customers to leave their shoes, light jackets and belts on while also leaving their laptops and small liquids in their carry-on luggage.
Most people have not experienced the PreCheck service because airlines have only offered this option to very frequent fliers. However, TSA will soon launch an application process where anyone can join PreCheck by paying $85.
