Top 10 Best Global Green Brands 2012

Companies are becoming increasingly eco-conscious and concerned with reducing the size of their carbon footprint.

Interbrand, one of the world’s largest branding consultancies, along with consulting firm Deloitte, recently ranked the 50 Best Global Green Brands[1].

“The best green brands are vital, relevant, powerful and pioneering,” Interbrand Global Chief Executive Jez Frampton said in a letter. “They are profitable, ethical, and ecologically responsible. They have a proven record of performance, strive to operate with transparency and they practice what they preach when it comes to sustainability. The best green brands show us what is possible.”

Here are the names of the top 10 brands on list of the 50 Best Global Green Brands. Auto and technology companies dominate the list.
