Trump Place Tells Donald Trump, You’re Fired!

Donald Trump’s management company has been quietly shown the door[1] at one of the Trump Place condo towers overlooking the Hudson River in New York City.

The board of the luxury condominium tower at 120 Riverside Boulevard opted not to renew its building management contract with the Trump Organization when it expired, sources told The Real Deal.

Instead, the board tapped AKAM Living Services as the building’s new manager.

Some residents expressed surprise over the decision and complained that the board made the move without advising them or asking for input. Representatives of the Trump Organization said the board had not warned them it wouldn’t renew the contract and had agreed to meet with residents to discuss the situation.

Completed in 2005, the 275-unit building is located on Manhattan’s West Side. It was the last of a string of Trump-built residential towers constructed along West Side Drive with views of the Hudson and the New Jersey shoreline.
