Go Daddy Picks Israeli Beauty for Super Bowl Ad

But this year's ad is expected to be less racy than previous ads

Go Daddy, the privately held website-hosting company, likes to make a splash with its Super Bowl commercials, which usually feature attractive women in suggestive situations.

This year, Go Daddy has tapped Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli, one of the modeling world’s hottest faces, to grace its ads. However, this year’s Super Bowl ad will be a lot tamer than those in the past and Refaeli may end up appearing in formal dress wear, USA Today notes.

A Go Daddy executive said the less-racy ad was meant to signal a shift toward customer-focused promotions. Titled “The Perfect Match,” the ad will concentrate on how the company helps its customers.

The 27-year-old Refaeli received the top ranking in Maxim‘s Hot 100 for 2012 and was the cover model for the 2009 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. She formerly dated Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio. The Go Daddy spot will be her first appearance in a Super Bowl ad.

Long-time Go Daddy girl and race car driver Danica Patrick will also appear in the ad.
